Doing mockups? Do 'em cooler!
I stumbled across balsamiq Mockups the other day and was in love. I don't do many mockups really, but the next time I do, I'll be using Mockups!
Using Mockups is just like mocking up an app on paper (my current method), including scribbling things out, or making big red X's, dropping a sticky, it's very intuitive.
I went through it this morning to see what it was all about (and take screen shots) and could easily see myself firing the app up (it's an AIR app, by the way, w00t!) and quickly outlining how my app would work.
Wanna learn to make apps like Mockups? There's still time (though not much) to register for 360|Flex San Jose. There won't be a wait list, we don't do that, so don't dilly dally, register now!
The last time I mocked up an app in full was the Survey tool we released in Atlanta.
Mockups is truly a cool application, as you add elements to your mockup, you can make them reflect your application.
